Review: Innisfree Green Tea Capsule Recipe Pack – Sleeping Pack

Innisfree sheetmasks and recipe packs are in my daily routine now. I’m highly impressed by their soothing green tea range. I believe, anything infused with green tea seems like a savior for my oily and irritated skin. My skincare routine comprises of green tea infused toners, mists and sheet masks and recently I thought of trying out the Innisfree Green Tea Capsule Recipe Pack.

Sleeping packs are highly raved Korean Beauty product that ensure hydrated, supple and glass like glowing skin while you get your beauty sleep. They take care of dehydration, dryness and pores maintaining a healthy glowing skin. Sleeping masks and packs were pretty new to me and I wasn’t sure how my skin would react to it, so I decided to go with Innisfree as I never had a bad experience from this brand!

Packaging

This green tea infused sleeping pack comes in a small mini tightly sealed tub like many other capsule recipe packs by Innisfree, they’re all so cute and colorful. The packs are tightly sealed to avoid any leakage and are super travel friendly and light weight!

Texture & Aroma

InnisfreeSleepingMaskIngredients[1]

The texture of the sleeping pack is thinner than a cream and is really soft and watery, however at a first glance, it looks quite thick. It melts and gets absorbed into the skin within seconds. As it is watery, it doesn’t leaves any stickiness or heaviness behind, it feels  very much like plain cool water being massaged on your skin! It has a very soothing and soft aroma and it lingers for a while. I do not find it overwhelming at all!

Price and Quantity

You get 10ml of product for 150INR. One tub goes a long way and can be used at least 15 to 20 times/nights.

How to use Innisfree Green Tea Sleeping Pack?

InnisfreeReview[1]

As I have an Oily skin, I use it as my Moisturizer in my Night Skincare CTM ( Cleanser, Toner, Moisturizer ) Routine. After thoroughly cleansing and toning my skin, I apply and massage the sleeping pack. If you have a dry skin, you can use a moisturizer before the application of the sleeping pack, as I believe it can be a little drying for dry skin types because of its watery texture.

Wash it off your skin in the next morning! Done!

My Experience/ Suggestions/ Review

One of the notable features my skin loved about Innisfree Green Tea Capsule Recipe Pack is the texture. As I have a super greasy oily skin, I always look for water based products. The pack makes my skin supple, relaxed, hydrated and glowy within minutes. You can see how supple and juicy the skin becomes in just one application. It seeps deep into the skin within seconds. The glow lasts for a day.

Although, I didn’t find any major changes on the pores except the extreme hydration, smoothness and softness, it did make my skin feel and look great! It was also very gentle on my active acne too, I didn’t experience any discomfort.

It is an amazing option for people with Oily/ Oily Combination Skin types, however, I believe it can be a little drying for Dry or Severe Dry Skin Types because of its texture. It is also appropriate for a light summer time skincare routine. I love how hydrating it is!

I’d definitely recommend this product if you have an oily skin and want to try your hands on a sleeping mask without burning a hole in your pocket. It is affordable and can give you an idea on the concept of ‘hydration while you sleep’.
