Review: Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Canola Honey- Oily Skin

Innisfree is one of the most loved Kbeauty brand in India, from sheet masks to super hydrating serums, it got them all! The brand has many options for oily and acne prone skin. I have used their wide ranges of sheet masks and I decided to try something different this time, I stumbled upon something that comes under Kbeauty but isn’t related to just sheet masks and glassy serums, I tried the super affordable and cute recipe packs from Innisfree’s goodness list! And here are my thoughts and experiences:

There are many capsule packs available with unique ingredients and I decided to go with the Canola Honey Recipe Pack as my skin needed a little a glow and moisture.

Packaging

The wash off pack comes in a very cute and mini container and is travel friendly! It can even fit in your pockets. The mask is tightly packed and sealed to avoid any spills. If I talk about the packaging, it’s a cute mini tub but it can be unhygienic to dip your fingers for every use. I scoop out the product with help of a spatula.

Texture & Aroma

The texture of the mask is just like honey, but a little lighter in consistency. It is not completely or remotely watery but it feels super hydrating and soothing on the skin. It smells a little citrusy- floral and sweet.

My Experience

As I have an oily and acne prone skin, sometimes my skin appears super dull, scarred and lifeless, Innisfree Canola Honey Recipe Pack worked pretty well on my skin. The mask was very smooth and rich, it left a soft and nourished skin behind. It made my skin a little plump and the sheer glow lasted a day. It is soothing and mild, which makes it highly appropriate for an oily and acne prone skin type. As the mask had a thin consistency, it didn’t clog my pores at all and I experienced no stickiness post application. It is moisturizing and took care of the rough uneven texture of my skin. The pack can be used at least thrice. I love to use it at night for its moisturizing qualities. Keeping the mask’s texture and results in mind, it embraces oily or normal skin better than the dry ones. The results on the dry skin types can be highly minimal. As it is scented, if you have a sensitive skin, it is advisable to do a patch test.
