A good face pack builds the broken and dull skin barrier, they smoothen, restore the elasticity and brightness of the skin. Winters are blue, dull and drying, the chilly wind snatches the moisture out of the skin and presents it with a dull and dried texture. Keeping my winter skincare and routine in mind I DIYed some face packs but later I chose to try some ready-made ones keeping the ingredients in check. I discovered a brand : Enchanted World Of Beauty, a growing Indian brand excelling in affordable and natural skincare and I got an opportunity to try out some of their face packs. Here are my thoughts and experiences:
Clay & Turmeric Face pack
This face pack comes tightly sealed and packed in a 25gms container. It has a little herby yet a fading aroma, which quickly vanishes during the application. It is enriched with kaolin and bentonite Clay, Turmeric and Hyaluronic Acid. Turmeric is highly anti bacterial and has been used as beauty and wellness ingredient for ages in India. It restores the lost glow and also helps in preventing acne. The clay draws out excess oil and dirt, making it a good option for an oily skin!
Quantity and Price: You get 25gms of this face pack for 245INR.
Ingredients: Aqua, Kaolin, Bentonite, Glyceryl Stearate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Glycerin, Emulsify Wax, Cetyl Alcohol, Veegum, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, PVP K30, Polysorbate 20, Benzyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Turmeric extracts, Allantoin, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Xanthan Gum, Tocopheyl acetate, Hyaluronic Acid, FD&C Yellow No.5
My Experience:
My Oily and Acne prone skin embraced this mask pretty well, I experienced no discomfort or any tingling / burning sensations. Generally, face packs leave a pulling dryness after the rinsing, but the texture of this pack was really soft and creamy and left a moisturizing glow post application. It isn’t dramatically aromatic.
It can also work well for people with dry skin, as the face pack leaves a soft and moisturizing skin behind.

Clay, Honey & Oatmeal Face pack
This facepack is enriched with oatmeal extracts, honey and hyaluronic acid and it has a very sweet aroma, which is a little stronger than the other two face packs I received. It also has a softer texture compared to the other two face packs. It cleanses the skin effectively, leaving a plumper and softer skin behind. Honey is highly moisturizing, making this face pack a good pick for people with dry and dehydrated skin.

My Experience:
My skin loved this face pack, it is soft and moisturizing and I really appreciated the delicate glow. My skin reacted well and I faced no discomfort. As the key ingredient of the pack is Clay, it took care of my excessive oiliness. It glides in like a butter and I used it with a rose water.

Clay, Orange peel & Sandalwood Face pack
This face pack smells like sandalwood and is enriched with brightening ingredients like amla extracts, sandalwood powder and orange peel extracts. It has a fading aroma and I find it really relaxing. Sandalwood enhances skin brightness and prevents wrinkles, this pack can deal with blemishes and dullness.

My experience: This face pack is very relaxing because of the presence of sandalwood. My skin felt brighter, this face packs doesn’t lightens the skin tone ( I am not into skin lightening products and do not embrace them ), it only brightens the dull and upper layer of the skin. It easily gets rid of the excess oil in the face.
Ingredients:
Aqua, Kaolin, Veegum, Niacinamide, Yellow Mustard Seed Powder, Glycerin, Titanium Dioxide, Sandalwood powder, Benzyl Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Sorbate, Amla and Gotu Kola Extract, Orangepeel extracts, Sodium Benzoate, Hylauronic Acid
Packaging
The face packs come in tightly sealed, sliding lid containers and are travel friendly, as they are pretty tiny.
Texture
As these face-packs are clay based, they mostly look and have the same texture and consistency, however, they all carry different and a fading aroma.
Skin types
These clay based face packs claim to suit all the skin types, I have an oily and acne prone skin and the ingredients worked for me. They are soft, nourishing and cleansing and maintain the natural oil balance on the skin. My skin didn’t experience any excessive dryness or patchiness after application. If you have a sensitive skin, please consider a patch test.
My favorites
I loved the honey and oatmeal variant, I enjoyed the sweet fragrance and my skin embraced the texture pretty well.
How to use
Cleanse your face and apply it, leave it for 10-15 minutes and rinse off! Simple!
I love to mix these face packs with a few drops of hydrating and refreshing rose water, you can try this tip if you have dehydrated and dry skin. It deeply nourishes and plumps the skin up. I always follow a CTM routine and moisturize after masking, it seals all the goodness inside and improves the health of your natural skin barrier, making your skin healthier and plumper!
What’s Good?
These face packs are Cruelty free, Natural, Sulphate free and Paraben free!
My Recommendations
These face packs are an amazing option for people with dry, dehydrated, dull and dropping skin. They are highly nourishing and give the skin a sleek glow. They are smooth and comfortable on skin and I didn’t experience any discomfort or breakout after application. They are affordable and travel friendly. However, if I talk about the cons, I’d definitely want a little more in quantity!
