Review : Nykaa Nail and Hand Crème

Nykaa is an Indian website that launched its very own ranges of hand and nail crème recently, I used nykaa a lot of times and honestly, I am not disappointed by their services. So, I got this beauty a few weeks ago. I learnt, our hands age faster just like our face and loses softness and shine over time. The nails also become thin and brittle and chips off of the fingers. It’s pretty new in the skincare and beauty industry so I decided to give it a try and here are my thoughts on this:

Texture:

The texture of this cream is really thick and it almost feels like butter. It glides in really easily. The best part about this cream is, it gets absorbed in your skin really quickly. My hands don’t feel oily or sticky after that. It gives off a light and plump finish that made me fall in love with this product!

Packaging:

The packaging of this product is quiet pretty, it’s a steel looking tube with cute flowers on it. As it’s a tube, it is easy to push out the amount you need. It’s really simple and clean. The tube isn’t that big and can be considered travel friendly too!

Ingredients:

It has : Purified water, Cetostearyl alcohol, Dicaprylyl carbonate, Propanediol, Coco Caprylate, Sorbitan olivate, Capric Triglyceride, Betaine, Trehalose, Bees Wax, Glyceryl monostearate, Sodium hyaluronate, Honey, Avocado Oil, Argan Oil, Olive oil, Jojoba Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Lavender Oil, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Allantoin, Sodium Gluconate, Xanthan Gum, Lactic Acid, Glycerin, Caprylyl  Glycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylhydroxamic acid, Wheat germ oil, Almond oil.

The cream has a really nice yet suppressed enchanting flowery fragrance, it’s not strong. So if you’re a person that likes light smelling skincare and makeup, this is for you! The fragrance is so light that it’s not noticeable.

Price and Quantity

As I already mentioned, I feel the tube is quiet small enough to be a travel friendly product. You get 30ml of product for 275INR.

How to use

I like to use this hand and nail crème after a shower and before bed. The softness stays all day. Scrub all the dead skin cells and dirt away using a body scrub from your hands and rinse it off. Pat it dry and apply a small amount of Nykaa : hand and nail crème and massage it in a circular motion. Give your nails a healing soft massage with the crème. It’s now a part of my daily routine! It also makes your nails firm and smooth and gives it a healthy shine and appearance.

My views

I rate this product 5/5, the formula and the texture is astonishing. I thought it’d be quiet sticky and oily as a hand cream but it is not! It sinks deep into your skin and provides a soft velvety touch for hours without all the sticky and tackiness. The cream gave my nails a very healthy and nourishing shine. It is luxurious and light, the aroma isn’t overwhelming at all. As the crème is a mixture of all the essential oils, it will keep your skin softer and healthier. Go for this hand crème if your hands and nails feel dry or lifeless, this crème can surely provide the needed nourishment!

So these are my thoughts and experience on the new hand and nail crème launched by nykaa, I’m in love with this product. I’m a super skincare loving person and love to make my skin go wow! We all deserve a little pampering sesh now and then! Dive in and give yourself a luxurious manicure treat. Your hands will love it!  Share your thoughts and you can connect with me here! Take care of your skin.

Love.

  2. I haven’t used hand creams either this one or the face shop one is on my wishlist. I was wondering if hand creams do make your hands soft. I need to wash my hands many times during a day (Because of cooking, after eating, etc etc) so do I have to keep reapplying it everytime.

    1. Handcreams are blessings I tell you! At a certain point of time, the skin really gets tired and lacks the glow as we generally ignore our hands but handcreams make sure your hands stay beautiful without any stiffness and dryness. No. You do not have to reapply everytime, this cream is astonishingly light and it gets soaked right in! I use it twice a day.
